What does it take to shape the future – and how can creativity guide us through the uncertainties of our time? To discuss this topic, cocreation.loft opened its doors once again for an Ignite session – this time curated by cocreation.loft members Patrick Marc Sommer and Kathy Känzig, in collaboration with Modern Creativity. Under the title “Mutig (unsere) Zukunft gestalten – Zukunftsbilder, KI und mehr”, the night invited us to explore how bold ideas, design and dialogue can become tools for transformation.
From Future Images to AI as a Creative Ally
The evening began with two impulse talks that brought fresh perspectives into the room.
Lisa Spicher and Gina Strecker from the strategy firm diffferent spoke about the power of Zukunftsbilder – guiding images of the future that help teams navigate change and design more intentionally. They shared insights from their daily work and invited the audience to reflect on how futures are shaped not only by trends, but by imagination and clarity of communication.
Christian Butte, an international Creative Director and brand consultant, shared how artificial intelligence has shifted his creative process – not as a threat, but as a powerful partner. In his talk, AI emerged as a tool that unlocks new possibilities, helping creatives work faster, smarter and with greater freedom.
From Stage to Circle: A Collective Conversation
As always the true highlight of the evening unfolds after the talks: What followed was not a panel discussion in the traditional sense – but an open, generous and highly participatory dialogue.
Facilitated by Patrick and Kathy, the conversation turned into a living exchange between speakers, audience and loft members. Guests asked questions, challenged ideas, and responded to each other directly. It felt less like a Q&A and more like a co-created inquiry – a shared attempt to understand how we, as creatives, citizens and thinkers, can shape the future together with courage and imagination.
Looking Ahead
Ignite #14 reminded us how powerful it is to think together – and how much potential emerges when conversations become shared spaces of exploration. As part of an ongoing series of events at cocreation.loft, this evening once again showed what’s possible when ideas meet community.
More than just a gathering, it was a glimpse into how we want to continue shaping culture: collaboratively, consciously and creatively.
